Volunteers and supporters honored at 24th Annual Awards Dinner
The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery’s 24th Annual Awards and Recognition Dinner was held at The Lincoln Center on January 25th. Every year our staff and board look forward to this wonderful event as this special evening provides the Crisis Nursery with an opportunity to thank so many of our talented volunteers and supporters. Thanks to their dedication and hard work, we again were able to have a major impact on our local children, their families, and our entire community this past year.
Throughout the evening Crisis Nursery staff shared the many highlights of our 2010 year including providing nearly 74,000 hours of care to 3,825 children. In addition, 34 amazing Crisis Nursery supporters were recognized for their dedication, talent, kindness, and support of the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.
“Thank you to each one of you for the role you played during the 2010 year. As we say so often around here, those of us inside the walls of the Nursery are just a very small piece of the puzzle in fulfilling our mission. “– Amy Swanson, Crisis Nursery Executive Director
