When families are facing any kind of crisis that makes it difficult for them to provide safe care for their children, we are here to help. We provide free, 24-hour shelter and care for children between birth and age six, and services to help parents create a more stable and nurturing home environment. All our services are free of charge and offered in a safe, non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere.

Jason is four years old. His mom and dad recently separated and mom has filed a protection order against Jason's dad. At the Nursery, Jason talks about “a bad man coming to the house and banging on his walls…mom calls the cops and he leaves.” Jason is staying at the Crisis Nursery along with his 19-month-old sister, Jasmine, until the domestic safety issue can be resolved.
